Delegates will gain hands-on experience creating invoices, receipts, and statements; track payables, inventory, and receivables; generating reports; and administering VAT to match the new KRA’s TIMS system.

At the end of the training participants will be able to:

• Understand basic accounting concepts, set up & management of QuickBooks company files.
• Utilize QuickBooks for setting up users, entering beginning balances & creating non-inventory items.
• Manage finances by automatically reconciling banking statements, downloading transactions, and matching accounts.
• Set up a set of company books, create data files, make journal entries accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventory, and bank reconciliation.
• Import balances to transfer from manual old system to QuickBooks
• Demonstrate achievement by producing daily weekly & monthly reports
