Risk Management for HR Professionals Workshop
28TH TO 30TH APRIL 2021 – ABERDARE COUNTRY CLUB NYERI

Governing People Risk for Improved Performance
All organisations operate in an environment of economic uncertainty subject to a wide range of internal and external influences, they are exposed to varying degrees of uncertainty and risk and this can directly affect their ability to achieve objectives.
Therefore, it is essential that an organisation’s risk management plan includes a comprehensive analysis of its people risks. Once an employee is hired, you introduce new risk to your organization. An employee’s ability to think for himself introduces risks that are dynamic, unpredictable and in some cases quite damaging.
Misaligned, ineffective, and improper human capital management policies, practices, and processes create financial, operational, and reputational risks that can threaten an organization’s bottom line, adversely impact sustainability, and reduce the organization’s value for its stakeholders.
This workshop addresses the benefits, procedures, concepts and methodology of managing HR related risks. It reviews the issue of human capital risk management and its impact on the organization.
